Hi,

My name is Maximilian, and I am a translator with an experience of 6 years in the localization industry.

Some things you should know about me:

· I translate from English and French into my mother tongue German.

· I am a qualified translator with both a Bachelor’s, and a Master’s degree.

· I localize websites, documents, and subtitle videos for you.

· Quality control is a core principle of mine and I apply it to every job I accept.

My fields of expertise are:

· Subtitling: I have translated subtitles from French and English to German for several TV show, programs, and videos.

· Marketing: I have completed projects for localizing websites and marketing ads for the DACH market.

· Travel & tourism: I have conducted regular translations which concerned technical content, such as UI and guides, intended for the travel & tourism and the hospitality industry.

In my free time, I like running, cycling, hiking, reading, and watching films or series on streaming platforms, such as Netflix. For films, I have always preferred original versions with subtitles in comparison to dubbed versions. This preference led to my passion for subtitling.
