I joined Channel 5 News to work on the graphics for live at 5 and the 6:30pm news. With the recent rebranded look to 5 and 5 News I was responsible for maintaining a brand look throughout all graphics across the News while bringing my experience and style to the programme.

I decided to leave earlier on in the position due to the role not being what it was led to be so decided to move on and start my own business.

Vubiquity-Amdocs Media. As a Senior Motion Graphics Designer, I was responsible for creating in-promo graphics, channel branding, developing presentations and innovative motion graphic content.

As well as the above I was brought in to work alongside the Creative Directors and head of graphics to raise the standard of GFX, develop the brand, and help expand the creative department.

Working closely with the marketing and sales team I created a new teamplated sales deck. They were given a brand guide and instructions on how the presentations should look to build a consistent and far more professional presentation than previously.

After achieving everything I could in Sky Sports News I was asked to join the Sports creative team in the day-to-day area. Designing for a variety of different sports while keeping to the strong brand the team has created. Most recently working on one of the major title sequences for the new Football League season FL72.

Key Responsibilities:

•Speaking directly with Producers to help create the best designs for their shows.
•Managing an up-to-date database of all the sports logos and player images for all sports shown on Sky Sports.
•Designing a variety of graphics for various platforms to go out to air, with a quick turnaround.
•Working closely with the promos and house-style teams, ensuring all cross-platform content fits within brand.
•Constantly pitching new ideas for title sequences as well as up-and-coming events.

Motion Graphic Designer

My main role was working on the day-to-day graphics and live output for Sky Sports News. I also produced graphics for all the major shows on Sports News from the Special Report to the End of Year show and the Transfer Window for two years running. In 2010, 2011, and 2012 I received a nomination for several of Sky's in-house rewards schemes called 'Believe in Better' and 'Grafta Awards'.
