Music video "Eclipse" Pink Floyd

The main task was to create a video for one of the songs from the album «The Dark Side of the Moon» using any animation technique. So we chose the song «Eclipse,» and we started creating animation. We’ve turned to the primitive art of Ukrainian artists; in particular, we were inspired by the work of Ukrainian artist Polina Rayko. In June 2023, the Russians blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant, and the water destroyed Polina Chaiko's house museum, so this is our tribute to this artist. Theme. The video is based on the Malanka holiday, which takes place in Ukraine's Bukovyna region. For this work, we researched a lot of anthropological literature about the ancient pagan celebrations of Ukrainians, watched the real action on Malanka, and tried to reflect it in the animation. We’ve created more than thirty characters for the video, as well as four angels that symbolize the end of the world.
