The Grist’s (creative agency) client Blue Shield of Massachusetts was looking to incorporate MORE motion graphics into a second project. The project consisted of producing a 2min motion graphic video with live-action footage. The motion graphic portion of the project needed to be outsourced (a common request at Inertiart).
The goal of this video was to visually enhance the audio on the explainer video promoting the company’s “virtual health services” to NEW and existing clients. The Grist was looking for a motion graphics expert to jump in and finish a project for Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
It is common for in-house teams to outsource portions of projects to other creative experts they trust. The digital production media space requires all sorts of skill sets and team members to complete specific portions of a project. Not all creative job titles are usually full-time employees at creative agencies.
The Chief Creative Officer at The Grist was in need of a reliable team player to join in mid-project to execute the Motion Graphic portion of a 2min explainer video. She trusted her referral's opinion without requiring an interview from Sherman upfront. He was the right person to join her team mid-project along with the Blue Shield of Massachusetts - Boston design team.
Sherman and his studio Inertiart have 20 years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies. Inertia works with both creative agencies and clients directly. They have a network of specialized creatives many creative agencies do not have on salary. Such as a single person’s skillset of being a motion graphics artist with 3-D experience and who knows how to code.
